Saqr Alhemeiri is a seasoned professional with proven success and demonstrated expertise throughout his career. In a multi-faceted career spanning over two decades, Saqr has solidified himself as one of the most skilled, experienced, and well-regarded professionals in his industry. Throughout nearly all of his professional endeavors, Saqr has worked to design innovative learning and development programs, corporate strategies, and engaging leadership training programs specifically designed to shape raw talent into powerful assets that can drive the success of nearly any business or organization.

With a deep understanding and an extensive expertise in background building, administering educational, learning, and development programs, and developing corporate strategy across all organizational levels throughout the private sector, Saqr has worked to expand his repertoire throughout the realms of utilities, commercial operations, and retail.

Saqr currently serves as The Chief Innovation Officer and Director of The Training And Development Center with the Ministry of Health & Prevention. Since 2015, Saqr has dedicated all of his time to his professional endeavors, working to provide thoughtful leadership as the Ministry planned to open and implement a new training and development center in Sharjah. In addition to designing a new approach and strategy for the healthcare innovation agenda.

From his early days, Saqr learned bits and pieces throughout all of his professional endeavors related to understanding just how to cultivate and grow the strategic relationships that foster success for business and organizations of all sizes. Saqr also recognized just how valuable human capital could be and set forth on a mission to learn, teach, and train professionals across a wide range of industries. Across commercial operations, private sector firms, and public organizations, Saqr has demonstrated just how successful his innovative, customized programs have been.

Throughout his time with Emirates Airline, he travelled across countries to Emirates Airline hubs and participated in hands-on learning in nearly every function related to the airlines’ operations. With Majid Al Futtaim Retail Carrefour, Saqr worked to create and execute a comprehensive learning and development strategy that was implemented throughout the entire company. At Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), Saqr designed the strategies, communications, and improvements needed to allow the company to achieve their short-term and long-term goals, ultimately driving strategy development throughout the entire company.

In nearly every single example seen throughout Saqr’s professional history, he has shown that leadership lives in his very core. As a cooperative, engaging, and supportive leader, Saqr works every day to ensure that his employees and those of his clients have all of the necessary tools, strategies, and training to ensure that they are best positioned for success.

Lina Shadid

Lina Shadid began her consulting career in 1994. Since then she has held a series of positions, most recently as the Health Industries Lead Partner at PwC, Middle East. Prior to that, she was the Vice President for an 80B. corporate as the Global Healthcare and life science Centre of Competence serving a number of global healthcare clients. Her responsibilities included setting business and strategic direction, market prioritization and operations for the global healthcare CoC in addition to serving as lead consulting partner for several clients in both public and private healthcare sector.

Throughout her professional career, Lina has focused on developing transformation strategies, operational improvement projects and large public and healthcare transformation and digitisation programs. Her prime focus is on digital health strategies, digital hospital implementations, HIE and Patient experience all underlying innovation, data and AI. Before assuming her current position with PwC, Lina held several executive positions leading the public sector, government and healthcare where she established the Healthcare Business for IBM in the Middle East and Africa since 2009.

As an Industry Academy Member, Lina’s focus is on health transformation, patient engagement and AI enabled health and social care coordination.

Lina has a special interest in promoting innovation culture, better healthcare for everyone and women empowerment in the region.

A pioneer in Endoscopic Ear and Sinus Surgery, for the last 30 years he has spearheaded and established groundbreaking and revolutionary medical techniques in the field, including the Tarabichi Stitch for Endoscopic Ear Surgery, as well as the Eustachian Tuboplasty Technique known as Endoscopic Transtympanic Eustachian Tube Dilatation.

Dr. Tarabichi is the Co-Founder of Tarabichi Stammberger Ear and Sinus Institute (TSESI) in Dubai UAE, the Institute is a group of ENT surgeons and healthcare research personnel whose sole mission is to improve the quality, safety, effectiveness, and cost of medical interventions in Ear and Sinus Surgery

Dr. Tarabichi is the Chair-Elect, International Advisory Board (IAB), American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Foundation

He is the Chairman, Middle East Academy of Otolaryngology, Chairman Otology Programme, Middle East Update in Otolaryngology.

Dr. Tarabichi is the Founding Board Member of the IWGEES, the International Working Group on Endoscopic Ear Surgery.

IWGEES is a global group of highly specialized and motivated Otolaryngologists and Otologists who are mastering Endoscopic Ear Surgery, believing in the advantages that endoscopy provides. The group seeks to foster excellence in technique, instrument development and research in the field.

Dr. Tarabichi is the Founding Member of the AAOCI, the Arab Academy of Otology and Cochlear Implant.

He also sits on the steering committee for GCIN, Global Cochlear Implant Access Network.

He Was the Head of ENT Department, Cochlear Implant Center of Excellence, American Hospital Dubai, UAE.

Eithne Treanor is a professional conference moderator and international communications consultant. Having worked as a business TV reporter, her knowledge covers healthcare and pharmaceuticals as well as energy, infrastructure, technology and corporate leadership.

She is the managing director and founder of E Treanor Media based in Dubai, UAE. In recent months, she has moved her reporting and moderating skills on-line to facilitate a number of major global conferences.

As a former international broadcast journalist, her TV reporting experience spans major television networks including ABC News, Sky News, BBC World, Bloomberg and CNBC International.

She also provides dynamic and energetic bespoke media and presentation trainings for government officials, corporate executives and leaders. To meet client demand, her latest offering is moderator and webinar training to help people be more effective and impactful delivering conference content in the virtual world.

Robert Hugh Nichols

Joining 3M in 1987, Robert Nichols began his career in a Sales role in ITB selling industrial adhesives before proceeding to hold many different functional and leadership roles across Sales, Marketing and General Management both in his home market of UK and across EMEA.

On October 1 st , 2018, Robert Nichols has been appointed Managing Director Middle East and Africa to continue strengthening 3M’s footprint both regionally and globally. Robert has been leading 3M Gulf since August 1 st 2017 as Managing Director Middle East and North Africa.

This year again, for the third consecutive year, Robert was recognized as one of the region’s 2020 Top 50 executives according to Forbes, ranking 29 th most influential personality up 10 ranks from last year’s recognition as the region’s 39 th leader in the exclusive 2019 and 50 th back in the 2018 Forbes Middle East Top 100 Executive list.

On November 25 th , 2020, Robert Nichols was re-appointed as The American Business Council in Dubai’s (AmCham Dubai) 2021 Board of Directors for the second consecutive year. Previously, Robert was board member of the AmCham in Russia from 2015-2017.

Robert joined 3M Gulf from 3M Russia, which he spearheaded from 2015 to 2017 as Managing Director, where he also successfully embedded himself into the Russian Business Community.

Prior, Robert presided as Business Director for Safety & Graphics, Security & Protection Services, Electronics & Communication Business, which he joined in 2008. From 2000 to 2007, Robert drove the automotive industry successfully across EMEA in his various roles as Marketing Operations Manager, Master Black Belt and Business Development Manager to name a few.

Robert holds a Master’s degree in International Marketing from Brunel University,London.

Ehab Zawaideh

Ehab Zawaideh is the General Manager of GE Healthcare in the Middle East, responsible for managing the business and developing and implementing effective strategies that include identifying business opportunities, maintaining relationships with customers and healthcare providers, ensuring sustainability, and meeting company objectives.

Ehab is a committed, results-driven leader with 25 years’ specialized experience in the healthcare sector. In his more than 15 years with GE Healthcare, he has held senior roles in nearly every modality in the company portfolio including molecular imaging & computed tomography, interventional radiology & cardiology, diagnostic X-Ray, diagnostic imaging, surgery and navigation, and has managed multicultural teams across Africa, the Middle East, Central Asia, and Turkey.

Ehab began his career as a Service Field Engineer for Jordan Medical Supplies & Services Co. before relocating to Dubai to join BrainLAB, the German medical technology company, where he led their business for Saudi Arabia and the Gulf.

Ehab earned his Master of Science in biomedical engineering from Technische Universität Ilmenau in Germany. He speaks English, Arabic and German.

Dr. Kalthoom Mohammed Al Blooshi

Dr. Kalthoom holds a (PhD) in the Arab Board in Family Medicine from the United Arab Emirates. AlBlooshi is a graduate of Women leaders Program from Sweden, UAE Government Executive Leadership Category from the UAE Cabinet, and Women Leaders Program from the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development, and Leadership Development Program from the Development Institute in Sharjah.

She provides leadership for the Clinical and Administrative services at 16 hospitals and more than 200, 000 patients/ month in the Northern Emirates. Dr. Kalthoom played an instrumental role in advancing the healthcare services at the Ministry of Health and prevention hospitals and in the developments of its performance and has introduced many innovative services such as the robotics in cardiac surgery, catheterization, general surgery and urology.

In addition to her position as Director of Hospitals department, she chaired many committees such as MOHAP hospitals technical committee, the Higher Committee for Research Ethics, Innovation committee among others. She has also participated as a speaker in many global, regional and local conferences.

Mohamed Galal

Galal has joined the company in 2003 as the Upper Gulf Countries Sales Manager in Kuwait and has climbed his way up through various senior roles to his current position in the United Arab Emirates. His expertise and understanding of the pharmaceutical sector’s dynamics reflect his strategic contribution to the growth of the company.
